For former Nigeria international and candidate for Thursday’s interview for the national team coaching job, Stephen Keshi, it won’t be fair talking about other candidates, not the least, Siasia.
“I only want to talk about my dream for the national team,” Keshi began in a chat with Sports Vanguard. “Everybody now talks of the 1994 and 1998 era, I am happy I was part of the period which I played a key role. Everybody is happy when talking about the 1994 squad which won the Africa Nations Cup and represented this country at the World Cup.
“I want to improve the standard of our football and reproduce the Okochas, the Olisehs, the Yekinis like we had in the past. I want to leave the same legacy I left as a player because I find it fulfilling that when people see me they talk about the 1994/98 Eagles. That is the much I can talk,” Keshi said
