THE managing director of Triumph newspaper, Alhaji Mahmud Adnan Audi and Zahradeen Saleh of  Pyramid FM will square up in the opening match of this year’s Kano SWAN/ Sule Yau Sule Inter Media Table Tennis Championship  today in Kano.

The competition with a draw of 32 has six players move to the next round without the use of the bat as they  got bye to the next round .

The tournament billed hold at the NUJ Press Centre Kano will have in attendance, the executive governor of Kano State, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, Sardauna Kano as special guest of honor.  Also expected to grace the opening event is the former chairman of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima as chairman of the occasion.

“This year fabulous prizes await winners, we are going to have  laurels to be won in the men singles and doubles, the event is been sponsored by Alhaji Sule Yau Sule, the senior Special Assistant to the Executive governor of Kano State on media and publicity.”
