THE Director General of the Goodluck Campaign Organisation, Dr Dalhatu Tafida, Monday, declared in Sagamu, Ogun State, that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the “candidate to beat in the PDP primaries and the 2011 general elections because he is the choice of God.”

Dr. Tafida who was meeting with PDP  members at the Asoludero court, said “Goodluck never contested election to become President and that means it was God that put him there.

Therefore, anybody who wants to fight against the will of God will find himself in trouble.”

He listed some of the qualities that stand President Jonathan out to include “his patience, his achievements in the last six months, the repair of the non-functioning refineries and his methodic roadmap towards resolving the power problem in the country.

Very soon, the President will visit Ogun state and commission projects, including those in the power sector, which would bring back to life small and medium scale industries in the country.”

Earlier, the Ogun State Governor and South West Coordinator of the Goodluck/Sambo Campaign organization, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, in his welcome address had taken time to explain the firm grip that his leadership of the party had in the state, as well as his popularity as against the simulated and orchestrated negative reports in a section of the media.
