Renew faith in Nigerian project – Ojougboh

SENIOR Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, has called on Nigerians to renew their faith in the Nigerian project and be in the vanguard of the collective effort to return the nation to the path of sustainable socio-economic, political and infrastructural development.

Dr. Ojougboh, who spoke through his campaign organisation, observed with great satisfaction, that the Nigerian nation  had made remarkable progress in all fields of human endeavor in the last 50 years.

The group urged  the people of Delta North to remain resolute in their support for Dr  Ojougboh as the choice candidate for the Senate in the 2011 general elections.

A statement by the Director General of the organization, Mr. Ogbueshi Douglas Okolotu, said though the Nation had passed through many turbulent periods, but the fact remained that in spite of the daunting challenges the country had remained one indivisible political entity and acknowledged the resilience and doggedness of all Nigerians to surmount and extirpate clogs in the wheel of the progress of the Nation and cautioned that the efforts of Nigerians past heroes should not be in vain.

Dr. Cairo Ojougboh campaign organization expressed implicit confidence that the Nation would witness unprecedented development and progress in the years ahead adding that the vision of the founding fathers of the Nation was attainable through visionary and quality leadership with the tenacity of purpose to succeed.

It noted that the various reform programmes in critical areas being championed by the present administration would bring the Nation back on the path of sustainable growth and development and urged Nigerians to display greater commitment, zeal and re_engineer the hope and enthusiasm that heralded Nigeria’s Independence in 1960.
