By Kenneth Ehigiator

Management of Arik Air said, weekend, that the airline had expended about $6.8 billion (N920 billion) in its operations since it started business four years ago.

This came at a time Arik Air emerged as the second airline in the world to have an Operations’ Control Centre, OCC, second only to Emirates Airlines.

Arik’s new Managing Director, Mr. Chris Ndulue, said the airline currently has a fleet of 26 short, medium and long-range aircraft, serving all the domestic routes in Nigeria, six regional routes and three international routes, including London, Johannesburg and New York.
