The organizers of the All Africa Challenge Trophy, AACT golf event billed to be staged at the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja has announced the arrival date of some of the African Lady players expected to compete for the continental honour.
Pamela Wu, Chairwoman of the organisng committee informed that both Gabon and Ghana are billed to touch down in Abuja on November 5th for the event.
She said, “We have more African countries confirming their arrival date for the event.
A Ghana and Gabon would be the first to be here and we are ready with preparation to welcome them and the other fourteen nations that the event would feature.”
“Other nations are expected to arrive the country on November 6th for the event”
In another development, the Nigerian’s team for the event has been narrowed down to three players and they are: Amina Wilfred, Rachael Danjuma and Diana Okah. Okah is the most experienced team member and is expected to help chart Nigeria’s way to its best ever appearance in the event.
The event is a biennial pan-African lady golf championship that has been won several times by South African team and is being hosted by Nigerian for the second time.
