Three sales staff from Microsoft Partner organisations, yesterday in Lagos, were rewarded for their outstanding performance in a recently concluded trade sales target offer.
The trade sales offer in which over 300 Microsoft Partner organisations participated began in May and ended in August 2010.
Seye Oloruntoba, Marketing Manager Microsoft Nigeria, said the trade sales offer was designed to reward sales staff of the Microsoft Partner companies as well as build on the relationship between distributors, partners and sales staff. Explaining the trade sales offer, she said,
“The trade sales offer was very simple. Our managed Partners were required to purchase Microsoft Volume License from our distributors to earn points.
The Partners with the most points at the end of the sales period are the winners.” The prize presentation which held in the premises of the Microsoft Nigeria, saw Moji Sodunke of Ha-Shem Network Services presented with a Hyundai Accent car for making the most sales.
Olaide Akisanya also of Ha-Shem Networks came in second and was presented a Flat Screen TV with Home Theatre, whilst Bose Osayimwen of Bitrax Axxent was third and went home with a Home Theatre. Ogechi Oleribe of Coscharis Technology was also presented with a Home Theatre for being the Best Distributor Sales Person.
Emmanuel Onyeje, General Manager Microsoft Anglophone West Africa, who made the presentations expressed satisfaction with the Microsoft Partners who participated in the trade sales offer and acknowledged their loyalty to the brand whilst giving the company’s best assurances of more avenues to reward dedication. He noted “Our Microsoft Partners are the link to our consumers. This is our way of rewarding their sales staff for their hard work in ensuring our consumers get genuine licensed Microsoft products. ”
Ha-Shem Network Services won the first and second prize in the trade sales offer. An elated Moji Sodunke, General Manager Ha-Shem Network Services and winner of the Hyundai Accent car said, “We thank Microsoft for making this possible.
Winning both first and second prize has put our company on top. We are glad our hard work has been this successful and we encouraged to work harder”.
Microsoft products are available in leading IT and software outlets in Nigeria which are managed by over 400 Microsoft Partners nationwide.
