Nollywood bad boy, Jim Iyke is set to prove his critics wrong as he begins a search for his missing ribs.
He has now taken a foray from the Big Screen to the Silver Screen with the launch of an “international” Reality TV Show termed “Jewel for Jim” Auditioning for the show is beginning soon.
According to the Show’s website, “ Jewel for Jim” is a nationwide search for a “rare gem”, a cultural and social ambassador, a lady of substance, a role model who personifies a perfect blend of the traditional and modern mind, a great talent, a Princess fit to be soul mate to Africa’s most eligible bachelor Mr. Jim Iyke
‘Jewel for Jim’ will present and document unscripted dramatic and sometimes humorous social experiences, situations and/or events, while featuring beautiful women of all races, cultures, ethnic groups, religions and sects, struggling to excel at specific tasks and contests with the ultimate goal of winning Jim’s heart and crowned “The Jewel”.
Our source hinted that about five of Africa’s greatest female celebrities living in different parts of the United States have taken up the challenge to search among thousands of women in their areas, to select four divas that will represent their respective zones and their different races/countries/cultures/ethnic groups in this fierce contest for “the Jewel”.
Open Auditions are expected to hold in five major cities in the United States; New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles to select 20 women who will move into the bachelors pad to begin the rigorous contest.
These events will be heavily advertised to attract huge crowds of women to participate.
However, closed audition is expected to hold in DC where Jim will meet with a group that consist of Past and Present Winners/Contestants of African Beauty pageant held in the US. Four contestants are expected to come from this group.
To anchor the reality show that promises to be the hottest and biggest thing ever to hit African airwaves, the organisers are looking out for first or second generation African living in America .
The director of programme, Mr. Jumah Ibeagbazi, is a American based Nigerian versatile artist.
The show, according to our source, is open to single ladies who are not above 21 years, and who must possess special skill in addition to agreeing to the terms and conditions of the show amongst other criteria.
The heat surely is about to get turned on as a Nollywood/GLO Ambassador bachelor steps into the shores of north America and goes public with his search for this elusive “Jewel”
