Enyimba, Heartland haggle over Ohawuchi

Striker of relegated Bayelsa United, Stanley Ohawuchi, could team up with either title holder, Enyimba or Heartland Football for the 2010/2011 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.

According to the striker, officials of the two clubs have contacted his representative and he is only waiting for either club to table their offer.

“My manager has spoken to two clubs, Enyimba and Heartland. But nothing has happened yet,” said Ohawuchi on Monday.

“I am sure that before the season kicks off I will join one of the clubs in the Premier League.”
The former striker of Nigeria’s Under_20s also disclosed that he still has his eyes set on moving abroad and was close to a move to a European side until the transfer window shut down on August 31.
