Edo Deputy Speaker lauds Oshiomhole on devt

BENIN—DEPUTY Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Mr. Paul Ohonbamu has commended Governor Adams Oshiomhole for the developmental strides of his administration since his assumption of office.

Ohonbamu, who spoke in Benin, Edo State, while conducting newsmen round some of the projects he had executed in his constituency, said that the state legislature would continue to support the Governor to ensure good governance in the state.

The Deputy Speaker, who represents Egor state constituency in the state assembly, said that the distribution of social amenities throughout the state has indicated that the Governor meant well for the state and will deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

Assuring his constituency that he will continue to attract more amenities to them if given a second chance to represent them and listed other projects he had executed, he listed projects he had executed since he became a member of the House to include, a block of six classrooms and staff office at Evbareke Secondary School in Ward six, electrification of Osayi, Chief Friday Igiebor and Ogbebor Streets and environs and the provision of a 33KVA Line and 300KVA transformer at Ugbiyokho area in Ward 1.

Others are the construction of 600 litres of water tank borehole and provision of 6.5KVA generator set after Ogiegor’s Palace in Ward 4 and provision of street lights along Ediaken Primary School, Uselu, the provision of  a 500 KVA Transformer to assist in powering the street lights and the problem of load shedding  in all parts of Ward 5.

Mr Ohonbamu also disclosed that he renovated two blocks of seven classrooms and four staff rooms at Ediaken Primary School just as he promised to provide school chairs/tables, desks for Adolor College at Ugbowo in Ward 10.

He called on well_meaning citizens in his constituency to join hand with him in ensuring the provision of the dividends of democracy to their people just as he promised not to let down if given another opportunity to be their representative.
