ABUJA—Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Dr. Eugene Juwah, yesterday, reiterated the commitment of the commission to safeguard the interest of subscribers in the telecom industry.
Juwah, who stated this while playing host to members of Association of Licensed Telecom Operators of Nigeria, ALTON, said in order to protect the interest of consumers, the commission would ensure compliance to all regulations to reduce tariff and guarantee quality of service.
According to him, “we want the operators to do things that will improve the quality of services and discontinue those things that degrade the quality.
“The commission expects all operators to be responsive to their subscribers because without them, no operator will exist and sustain their services.”
