Shoppers Magazine re-positions, hits news stand

Shoppers Choice, a publication of DD-IMC Limited, and a lifestyle tabloid magazine says it is repositioning to enter into the Nigerian Media landscape.

The 52-page all-colour-gloss magazine made its debuts early this year with a marketing penetration strategy of a free-circulation publication.

Mr. Tosin Bakare, Publisher of the Magazine said the concept behind the magazine is to bridge the gap between shoppers and the brands market.

His words, “Our publication is poised to educate and inform shoppers on the available brands in the market to help their shopping decisions while emphasizing the high and low points of such brands. It is a shopping guide designed to project good bargains at all time for the consumers. If truly, the consumer is King, then he must have a voice, Shoppers’ Choice is that voice.”

Speaking, Bakare stated that the publication caters for the interest of the brand owners and brand custodians as well. “Shoppers Choice will serve as the much needed barometer to feel the pulse of the consumers.

“I know that understanding what Consumers want has always been the greatest headache of every brand owner. I am glad to say, that will no longer be a prob lem as we have come to bridge this gap. To the brand architects in the Marketing Communication industry, Shoppers Choice will enhance their creative and communication platform to meet the consumer needs.”

Further, he stated that the publication would strive always to meet the entertainment, education and information requirements of the readers. “We are mindful of the basic mass communication functions of education, information and entertainment. I can assure you that we will not settle for anything less than world class standard in our effort to deliver on these functions.”
