The runway of Yakubu Gowon Airport, Jos, was, last night, shut to landing and taking off after an Aero Air plane had a burst tyre while landing.

Panic stricken passengers scampered out of the plane once the door was opened.

The plane took off from Lagos.

It was not immediately known how many people were on board.
