After several months of casting, travelling and long absence from the screen, delectable actress, ObyÂ Edozieh is back and ready to hit the cinemas with her long awaited film â€˜Save Our Soul.â€
Shot in India and London, â€˜Save ourÂ Soulâ€™ is due for premieredÂ at Transcorp Hilton, in Abuja on the 26th of August. The crew will then move down to Lagos for another premiere on Sunday 29th , at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island with red carpet starting off at 3pm.
Alongside the premiere of the movie, the producer Oby Edozieh will also be launching her Oby Gold Cancer Foundation, a foundation borne out of her passion for people with cancer.
Prior to an official launch, Oby Gold Cancer Foundation has been of great help to several women with cancer, giving out counsel and support.
The film â€˜Save our Soulâ€™ is about the emotional and psychological trauma that comes along with cancer and its effect on victims and their families, as well as various ways people choose to deal with it.
The movie directed by Moses Iyang, features stars like Kenneth Okonkwo, Elebelu Elebuwa, Chioma Chukwuka, Ebere Okaro, Oby Edozie, Segun Arinze and others Nollywood acts.
Speaking on the movie, Edozien said â€˜the movie has been very involving in terms of budget and other logistics, especially since the cast and the movie had to be moved to the two countries, but with the quality of movie we came up with, all the effort was worth itâ€™.
