Knowledge of ICT a must for today’s job seekers, IT Expert

An Information Technology( IT) expert Mr Ologun Bamidele has predicted that in no distant time, persons searching for jobs would no longer be able to get a call up for any interview if their curriculum vitae do not reflect acquisition of relevant  IT certification.

Bamidele who is the Managing Director of RayBam ICT Training and Consultancy Center, Akowonjo, Lagos said the highest paying career jobs are IT related which all also require IT knowledge and certification. He said that recent research in jobs requirements for many companies have shown that potential employees undergo a couple of training and certifications in ICT related courses.

According to him, over 95% of industries around the world like Oil Servicing Companies, Data Center Management, Aviation, Internet Service Providers, Telecommunications sector, among others  have their operations and businesses tied to information technology.

Bamidele said, “for any potential employee to fit into any department of these organisations, that person requires an IT training.”

He added that it was because of the role ICT plays in the world economy and to empower job seekers that his Institute was offering discounted training and certifications in all  IT related courses such as Oracle, Cisco, Comptia, Certified Internet WebMaster, Microsoft, APC, SUN, PHP,, EXIN, IBM, among others.
