Nigeria’s Europe-based contingent were scheduled to arrive Seoul in four batches ahead of Wednesday’s friendly match against South Korea.
The first batch, which arrived Monday 07h00 local time) had Joseph Akpala, Dele Aiyenugba, Kalu Uche, Dickson Etuhu, Sam Sodje, and Danny Shittu.
Yusuf Ayila and Solomon Okoronkwo made up the second batch and arrived on Monday at 04h00 Nigeria time (12h00 local time).
Brown Ideye was expected at 07h00 Nigeria time (15h00 local time) while the duo of Obafemi Martins and Osaze Odemwengie make up the final batch that was being expected.
The team was scheduled to have their first training session at 20h30 local time.
Nine domestic league players left with stand_in coach Austin Eguavoen. They are Moses Bunde, Terna Suswan, Ayo Saka, Promise Onu, Emmanuel Anyanwu, Valentine Nwabili, Otekpa Energy and Ugwu Uwadiegu.
