CDMA operator, Starcomms says it is striving hard to make talk cheap and easy between its customers in Nigeria and their loved ones abroad. To ensure that it achieves that mandate, the company recently slashed its international call rate.

The new call rate, according to Starcomms, is as low as N12 per minute and applicable to calls to the United States of America , Canada , United Kingdom , China and India .

According to the Chief Commercial Officer of Starcomms, Mr. Tushar Maheshwari, the new tariff covers peak and off peak calls to both land and mobile lines in the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, China and India.

He explained that the countries covered by the new rate top international business and leisure destinations, as a result, the new comparatively low rate will enable Starcomms customers to be in touch with their business partners and loved ones in those countries.

On the rational behind introducing the new rate, he said that there is a passion in every Nigerian to stay connected with loved ones outside the country, and that since Starcomms is a network that speaks the language of the people, it is obliged to always give them the opportunity to do so.

He Pledged that Starcomms will continue to improve the life of all its customers through exciting packages, adding that the company was currently running a 3 minutes promo, through which customers can make unlimited on-net calls after paying for the first three minutes.
