The President of the Senate, Senator David Mark will tomorrow  present to the general public a new football club, Apa United Football Club of Otukpo in Benue State.

A statement by the chief press secretary to the senate president, Paul Mummeh said the public presentation of the Apa United FC under the auspices of David
Mark Foundation will climax the finals of the on_going David Mark Secondary Schools football tournament in the zone.

The maiden competition initiated by Senate President David Mark is aimed at ushering in healthy contest between and among secondary schools in Benue South Senatorial zone.
All the nine local government councils in the zone produced a representative for the competition with the final on Saturday in Otukpo.

Senator Mark says soccer is one area of interest where he strongly believes the Idoma land will continue to nurture the unity and peaceful co-existence among her people.
