Ondo State Governor, Dr  Olusegun Mimiko on Wednesday disclosed that a
um of Three Billion Naira has been rovided for farmers and small cale industrialists with a view to boost food production and the  State’s industrial rive.
The Governor who made this disclosure in Ido_Ani, in Ose local government area of the State during a Town Hall meeting with the people of the local government specifically urged farmers in the state to avail themselves of advantage of the N1 billion Agriculture loan earmarked for them to boost food production in the state.
He also appealed to small scale industrialists and entrepreneurs to assess the N2 billion loans already made available for small scale entrepreneurs and business development in conjunction with the Bank of Industry (BoI).
He revealed that in its determination to encourage small scale industries, the State the state government has assessed the N1 billion federal government Agric loan and also paid its N1 billion counterpart contribution to the  Bank of Industry.
Mimiko stated further that the state government has taken delivery of Mobile Agric Input shops, where farmers across the state can purchase farm inputs at subsidized rates.
