Nigerian Breweries, a unit of Dutch brewer Heineken, said weekend that its half year pre-tax profit dropped 5.5 percent to N23.27 billion  from a year ago.

Gross earnings however rose to N88.44 billion  in the period from N82.69 billion  a year ago, the Heineken unit said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange
