Coming this Saturday, July 24, 2010, the Martinos Hotel behind Marwa Gardens , Ogba Ikeja will come alive when friends and fashionistas will gather for a day of fashion, fun, and entertainment as Nektar Creations launches her ready to wear collection for summer.

The event will begin with a colourful red carpet reception, models launch of the summer collections of ready to wear apparels, which would be followed up by dazzling fashion show with theme “practical clothing on run way”.

Describing her designs Lara Adelusi, CEO of Nektar Creations, says: “my designs are chic, comfortable and African because I love to see my creations come alive”.

Unlike most fashion show, with models showcasing clothes that can’t be worn, the interesting thing about this fashion show is that the outfits that would be showcased on the Runway are bespoke designer clothes that are not just practical but people can easily relate with.

Over the years Nektar creations has built a reputation of highly creative apparels with a unique signature that consists of generous use of trimmings, appliqué, embroidery and other embellishments.
