Senior Community Engagement Officer of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) in Warri, Delta State , Mr. Rilwanu Momodu, who was kidnapped by gunmen on Friday afternoon on his way to the office, has been released.

An official of the company, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard, morning said, “Though, I have not seen him since his release,
but, I got a phone call when I got to the office this morning (Saturday morning) that he has been released.

“There was no contact between our company and those that abducted him before he was released. No ransom was paid and the
reason for the kidnap is not known to us. But what I can tell you is that he has been released”.
