DELTA State chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, has said the teenage authors’ competition and publication of anthology by Delta youths would require 10 million naira to make it an annual event.
Chairman of Chapter and Provost, Asaba campus of the Delta State University,  Professor  Sam Ukala, thanked Mr.Richard Mofe Damijo, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education,  for their support to ANA and appealed to the Delta State Government to support the ANA project as it conforms with the human capital development component of its three point agenda.

Ukala, spoke   at the recent 8th anniversary celebration of ANA held in Asaba where winners for the teenage competition and ANA’s anthology titled Rumbling Creeks of the Niger Delta, were presented to the public.
