UNKNOWN gunmen yesterday afternoon in Uvwie council area of Delta State abducted the Mr. Rilwanu Momodu, the Senior  Community Engagement Officer of Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL, to an unknown destination.

He was alleged to have been kidnapped on his way to the office around 2 pm.while his car was found abandoned at Sapele, suggesting that the kidnappers must have taken him deep into the creeks  by suspected militants.

Though Chevron management decline to give details of the unfortunate incident, they nevertheless confirm the kidnap even as security sources also confirmed to Saturday Vanguard that Mr. Momodu was abducted and his where about is still unknown though efforts are on top gear to locate his position.

It would be recalled that Mr. Momodu was also kidnapped by militants during the seven years Warri crisis that later metamorphosed into the Niger Delta crisis.
