As part of measures to re-position for profit maximisation, Air Nigeria has embarked on another round of restructuring which saw the duo of Engr. Christopher Kwasau and Mrs. Temitope Fagbemi emerging heads of the Directorate of Engineering & Maintenance and Human Resources respectively.
Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Mr. Kinfe Kahssaye, who disclosed this in Lagos at the weekend, said the restructuring was done in line with the vision of Air Nigeria.
According to him, the newly appointed personnel have the mandate to raise and sustain the quality of service of the airline in strict adherence to globally acceptable standards.
Kahssaye noted that their elevation was a landmark development in the airline’s succession plan, especially as they have excelled in their different professional pursuits.
He said: “We are consistently reviewing our operations with a view to upgrading our standards in the industry and we can only achieve this by ensuring highly qualified personnel occupy and manage our operations in line with global best practices especially as the airline has consistently maintained and operated in line with acceptable civil aviation regulations.
