2011: Industrialist backs Jonathan for President

By  Dennis Agbo

ABAKALIKI— PROMINENT South East-based industrialist, Dr. Chike Obidigbo, has said that because of the special circumstances through which Dr. Goodluck Jonathan emerged as president, he required the support and encouragement of every patriotic Nigerian so he could salvage the seven-point agenda of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua.

According to him, Jonathan’s re-election in 2011 will enable him make up for lost time caused by Yar’Adua’s sickness and hospitalization.

Obidigbo, who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hardis and Dromedas Group of Companies, stated that Nigerians should move away from the argument about which zone should produce the president in 2011 to explore ways of supporting President Jonathan to actualize his vision of electoral reforms and stabilized energy supply in the country.

He explained that in spite of whatever politicians might want Nigerians to believe about zoning, the fact that providence has placed Jonathan on the Presidency was enough for all patriots to support him to make the best of the seven-point agenda within the next four years.
