As the World Cup kicked off today at Johannesburg’s Soccer City stadium with great frenzy, spectacular display of culture that bring mouth agape. So also the two matches played today did not leave the spectators dry.
The opening game between South Africa and Mexico ended in a 1-1 draw but not without both teams showing their might and mastery of the round leather game and that they are not push over, mostly for the South African who looked like they would like to host and win.
The South African team sent their supporters wild when they took the lead through Siphiwe Tshabalala’s splendid goal at the 55th-minute of the game but was short lived at the at 79th minute by Rafael Marquez’s equalised for the Mexican.

Much is expected as the game progresses where the boys will have to give way for the men who are destined to hold victory at the end.
