PPA refutes allegation against Orji

OWERRI—The majority members of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Progresive Peoples Alliance, PPA, are not happy with the confrotational attitude of the new chairman, Mr. Larry Esin, against Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State and Board of Trustees, BOT, Chaiman, Chief Orji Kalu, as such do not support a publication which ought to be internal particularly resolutions of the party.

In a statement in Owerri by the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Mr. Ben Onyechere, the party said:

“In the fisrt place if you read the summons addressed to the Governor, it was an entirely personal letter from the Chairman to the Governor which he had sent out before consulting the members of NWC.

“We are not in support of his attitude and that is not the concept on which PPA was built. It is a bad way of managing crisis in a terrain surrounded by political opponents.I can assure you that nobody as yet knows the chairman’s mission in attacking the respected party chieftains.

The Abia Governor is somebody that deserves everybody’s respect and support particularly with what he is going through in a state stiffled by the PDP controlled federal government.”
