Those who see the President’s proposed visit as an endorsement of Governor Uduaghan are said to be planning a protest during the visit, but the state government appeared unperturbed and focused on not giving room to distraction.
The Delta Waterways Security Committee, DWSC, and other security agencies have drafted their men to the community since last week, it was learnt on a reconnaissance mission, while Governor Uduaghan had also visited the community, to secure the cooperation of the people for the President’s visit.
