President Goodluck Jonathan will deliver a paper titled: “Beneath the Turbulent Water of our Political Life looms the Nigeria of our Dream” during the Nigeria at 50 lecture/award scheduled for Abuja on August 28, 2010.

The lecture earlier slated for May 13, 2010 was postponed as a mark of honour for the departed President, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

According  to a statement by the Acting Editor of the National Chronicle Newspaper and Secretary of the Award Organising Committee, Peretine Ikenebomeh and Adamu Sabuwa respectively, the event with the theme,”Leadership and the  future of Nigeria” will induct President Jonathan and some of the country’s patriots who have shaped the course of  history into hall of fame.

It will attract eminent Nigerians, including Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, Alhaji Musa Abdulhammed Ujah, Chairman, Strabag Construction Company, Chief Mike Adenuga, Chairman, Globacom, Senator Bala Mohammed, FCT Minister, among others.
