Vice-President Namadi Sambo has reaffirmed Federal Governmentâ€™s commitment to improving electricity supply and other infrastructural facilities in the country.
Sambo, who said this while receiving members of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State in his office, in Abuja, yesterday, added that the administration was determined and sincere about improving power supply to all parts of the country.
He added that Nigerians would soon witness the development of massive infrastructural facilities across the nation to shore up economic activities in all sectors.
The VP also re-assured the nation, and in particular people in the Niger Delta, of governmentâ€™s commitment to the implementation of its amnesty programme and providing sustainable peace in the region, as well as the dredging of the River Niger.
Other areas critical to the administration, Sambo said included project monitoring and evaluation, as well as, revitalisation of railway system in the country.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Isa Ashiru, explained that they came to congratulate the Vice-President and to pledge their support.
He also pledged their continuous prayers and encouragement for President Goodluck Jonathan and the administration to succeed.
