After observing a rest day on Monday, the Eagles trained fully with all the players singing one song – Greece must fall. Lars Lagerback was in charge and shouted instructions.


Taiye Taiwo after his injury scare was involved in full training. Eagles Media Officer, Peterside Idah said that there was no injury worry in the team noting that the players were in the right frame of mind to deliver against the Greeks.

“All is well in the camp. All the players are raring to go. The coach, Lagerback has almost corrected the mistakes he noticed in the match against Argentina. They have watched the tapes of the match over and over again. The players, too, have equally seen their mistakes.

They are professionals and they are ready.  I am happy with the attitude of the players. They are all united and raring to go to change the tide against Greece”, Idah a former goalkeeper of the national team said.
