OSOGBO— The political ambition of Prince Diran Odeyemi, one of the 13 governorship aspirants jostling for the ticket of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun State ahead of the 2011 election has received a boost with the support of the youth group in the state.

The group, Ijesa Youth Forum, IYF, announced its support for Odeyemi who is currently the Special Adviser on Special Duties to Oyo State Governor, Otunba Christopher Alao-Akala.

At the general conference of the IYF in Ilesa, the group  declared its support for Odeyemi and warned leaders of the PDP in the state not to play with fire by attempting to adopt someone else as governorship candidate.

President of the association, Mr Micheal Orolugbagbe and his Secretary, Mr. Taiwo Ogedengbe led multitude of members of the group to the residence of Odeyemi at his home-town in Ibokun to demonstrate their supports for the aspirant.
