By Kate Obodo
His  initial stand on the team was that the Super Eagles have  not been well prepared for the 2010 World Cup but that music has changed as former boss of Shooting Stars Football Club, Elder Bode Oyewole now believes they  will go beyond the country’s expectation.

The tournament kicked off last Friday with the host country taking on Mexico, and  Elder Oyewale is confident that Nigeria will fly high following her quality players.

In a chat  with Sunday Vanguard sports, Elder Oyewole said that Nigeria has quality players to do well  and  will be among the countries  that will be unbeaten.

“Our chances are very bright like every other team with the quality of plays we have. There is no cause for alarm, I’m positive that the team will do well. With the  kind of coach that we have, there is every  possibility that the team’s success is sure.

Every team is strong. For me I have no fear that we will lose in the competition, we are going to make an impact,” Elder Oyewole said.
