The Governing Council of the University of Benin has appointed a substantive registrar for the institution.  She is Mrs. Gladys Osebun Ogboghodo.
Mrs. Ogboghodo,54, who until her appointment was the deputy registrar, personnel (Senior Division), replaces  Mrs. R. Egborge  who  acted   since 2009.

A statement signed by Mr. Harris Osarenren, Head, Public Relations and Protocol of  the University  said that the appointment of Mrs. Ogboghodo took effect from May 7, 2010.
