Translate unveils Dream Wedding Splash winners

The dreams of Oluwatimilehin and Temitope to have a memorable and enjoyable wedding ceremony has come true, following their emergence as winners of first ever online wedding competition, ‘Dream Wedding Splash’.

The organisers of the event,, a wedding planning and community website, recently unveiled the winners amidst fanfare at the Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos. The winners won for themselves a dream wedding valued at over N4 million.

The winning couple will get a dream wedding package with make-up provided by House of Tara; event planning by Zapphaire Events; hall decorations by Furtullah Consultants; wedding cake by UpperCrust; photography by Camara Studios; wedding catering by Wine & Gold Caterers; bridal wardrobe by Yes I do Bridal; Groom wardrobe by The Wardrobes; a $2,000 Debit Visa card by Zenith Bank; honeymoon package by Obudu Cattle Ranch Resort; and media coverage by SP.

Apart from the sponsorship of their wedding, Oluwatimilehin and Temitope with the runners-up, Aaron & Mfon and Boladale and Rotimi got free DSTV decoders with one year subscription and one hundred thousand naira household gift vouchers and a wedding website. While the other top five couples-Oluwatosin and Oluwatosin, Adetola and Adewale, Chuks and Adaku, Uyi and Joseph, and Rukayat and Olumide were given one hundred thousand naira household gift vouchers and a wedding website from the sponsors as consolation prizes.

It can be recalled however, that the ‘Dream Wedding Splash’ competition was kicked off in February, where would-be couples who want to have a sponsored dream wedding were encouraged to register online free at website, where people, including their friends and relations would vote for them.

The top 10 among the contestants during the online voting were short listed for the final stage where some trivia questions like ‘what was she wearing on your first date’ were asked them to test their compatibility and how well they know themselves.
