A group, Isoko Development Monitoring Group, IDMG, has called on Nigerians to support Dr Good luck Jonathan in order to facilitate the realization of his goals and objectives.
In a statement by its President, Mr M. Oroboha, yesterday, stated “that this is not the time for sentiment, racism, nepotism and tribalism. What we want now is the general cooperation of all Nigerians regardless of your ethnicity so as to start from where our late President Yar’Adua stops, in order to guarantee a sustainable economy.
According to the group, Isoko is not only an oil producing area that help to sustain the development of the country but also one of the most peaceful community.
We are therefore using this medium to appeal to President Goodluck Jonathan to consider Isoko people for federal appointments to justify equity and fairness. This will not only serve as a motivational factor but give the people of Isoko the sense of recognition and belonging.
