Benin City-THERE was pandemonium in the early hours of yesterday, when a 400 level Accountancy student of the Ambrose Alli University , Ekpoma, Benjamin Oghayerio, committed suicide.

However, the deceased left a note which stated the reasons why he decided to commit suicide: “ I am doing this due to intractable family crises, frustration arising from multiple carry over of subjects in the various examinations I took in school and particularly my membership of a  secret cult”.

The incident which shocked residents of Ugbiyoko community, in Benin City , occurred in one of the living rooms belonging to his elder sister.

Saturday Vanguard learnt that the deceased was hale and hearty when he went to bed only for his sister and other relations to wake up to find the deceased body dangling in the rope which was tied to one of the windows
