Making Jonathan President requires due process – Harriman

A Peoples Democratic  Party, PDP,  aspirant into the Delta State House Assembly  to represent Ethiope East constituency, Deacon Aghogho Harriman, has cautioned the National Assembly against being in a haste to make Acting President Goodluck Jonathan a substantive president, saying such issue is a fundamental one that requires due process.

Speaking to newsmen, Harriman explained that the issue of making Jonathan a substantive president is not one deliberation that should be rushed into, either by the Executive Council of the Federation, Excof, or the National Assembly without following due process. Harriman advised the National Assembly to tread with caution, saying that is what is expected of them as lawmakers instead of destroying the whole system they have taken time to build.
