Jonathan to deliver lecture

Acting President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan will deliver a paper on “Beneath the turbulent water of our political life looms the Nigeria of our dream”, in Abuja on 13 May 2010 to be organised by the National Chronicle newspaper.

According to a statement by its acting editor, Peretine Ikenebomeh, “the lecture will centre on Nigeria at 50 with a sub-theme ‘Leadership and the Future of Nigeria’ to commemorate 50 years of our freedom with a compendium and induction of some of the country’s patriots that have shaped the course of history into the Patriots Hall of fame, will attracts 280 eminent delegates across Nigeria and beyond.”

Other key speakers will include, Emmanuel Oduaghan, Delta State governor, Dora Akinyuli, Minister of Information, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, CBN governor, Prof Tunde Babawale, CBAAC Director-General, Prof Maurice Iwu, Chairman INEC, among others.

The Special Guest of Honour will be Ghanaian President, Professor John Atta Mills.
