UGHELLI â€” MAJOR-ITY Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Sunny Akpodiogaga Emeyese, has declared his intention to contest election into the Federal House of Representatives in the Ethiope Federal Constituency.
Emeyese, who represents the Ethiope East Local Government Constituency in the state House of Assembly, made the declaration during a meeting of the Ethiope East Political Forum.
He said if elected, he would give Ethiope Federal Constituency a better representation in the National Assembly.
He said his decision to run for the Federal House of Representatives was informed by his determination to add value to the lives of the people of the constituency, reiterating that he would attract developmental projects.

Emeyese said he would bring the constituency to national political limelight, adding that his experience in the State House of Assembly and in the legal profession would count for him.
He stressed the need for professionals and experience hands to be saddled with legislative businesses.
Emeyese, who is the chairman of the forum, told the leadership of the PDP at the state, local government and ward levels to sensitize the people on the manifesto of the party and the need for Deltans to re-elect Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for a second term in office.
He commended Mr Halims Agoda, member representing the Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives for giving the area good representation and promised to do more if elected.
