CSR: Access Bank donates classroom block to school

Access Bank Plc, in furtherance of its commitment to environmental and societal well-being, has donated a refurbished block of class rooms to the pupils and staff of Herbert Macaulay Girls Senior High School, Yaba.

According to a statement by the bank, the initiative, which is an expression of its resolve to facilitate socio-economic and educational development of its immediate area of operation is designed to create an encouraging learning environment for students in the school.

Speaking at the school presentation ceremony, Mr. Segun Ogbonnewo, Group Head/General Manager, Central Processing Group Access Bank Plc, said the gesture was consistent with the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and is in line with the ‘School Adoption Campaign’ of the Access Bank Central Processing Group motivated by the its Employee Volunteering Initiative.
