Chime lauded on 4-Point agenda

ENUGU — The Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Sullivan Chime has been commended on the progress made on the four-point agenda of his administration.

The State Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Martin Chukwunweike made the commendation in Enugu, on  the Governor’s 51st birthday celebration, recently.

Dr. Chukwunweike noted that the Governor had left no one in doubt as to his vision for the state. He said that the Governor has won several awards from institutions within and outside the state due to his achievements in such areas as infrastructural development, poverty reduction, health-care delivery, security and peace in the state.

“What this means is that come next year, the Governor is sure that no opposition can match his achievements,” adding that he, like many other people, was “not very surprised, as his father, was a successful Minister in the Second Republic.”

On the centenary celebration of the coal city, the Commissioner said that the Governor had used the opportunity to bring close, states like Ebony, Anambra, Abia and Imo,  which were part of the Eastern region together in the celebration that had been described as a huge success. He enjoined the people of the state to give maximum support to the Governor,  whom he said had taken the state to the next level.
