Youth leader empowers Ndokwa people

ASABA—The National leader of Ndokwa National Youths, Mr. Friday Osanebi, has  distributed items worth over N7 million to his followers in Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwuani local government areas of Delta State. The items  include 30 motorcycles, three Gulf cars and an 18- seater bus.

Presenting the items at the youths secretariat during a  general interactive conference in Ashaka, Ndokwa East local government area,  Osanebi said the empowerment became necessary due to their dedicated followership.

He explained that the general interactive conference was to create an avenue for the youths to speak on gray areas and collectively chart positive ways forward for the rapid development of Ndokwa land. According to him, the present executive leadership of Ndokwa youths, which came on board in 2008, is aimed at organizing the youths into a formidable pressure group to educate them on the importance of dialogue and to co- operate with youths of other ethnic nationalities in Delta state and across the country.

The youth leader further stated that his leadership of the youths had witnessed tremendous socialization and participation by the youths in partisan politics geared towards harnessing their goal for a better and more meaningful future as leaders of tomorrow. He  commended the youths for their steadfastness in protecting and promoting the socio- cultural and political heritage of Ndokwa ethnic nationality.

And urged them to always shun electoral fraud and remain non- violent in agitating for their rights , and promised that more empowerment were underway from Ndokwa state and federal level.

Among those who commended Comrade Osanebi for the gesture are Hon Chief Emeke Ukpe, member Delta state house of assembly, Hon Jeffery Azagba, former Chairman of Ndokwa West local government area,  Hon fidelis Oputa, Utagba- Ogbe councilor, and Comrades Benjamin Onwubolu, among others dignities.

In a separate remark, they pointed out that such gesture has not happened in the history of youths leadership in Ndokwa land and that the inception of Comrade Osanebi’s leadership two years back has enthroned reformed oriented and well coordinated youths activism.

And call on other politicians, business class and civil servants to emulate the virtue of Comrade Osanebi, so as to collectively move Ndokwa Forward.
