By John Egbokhan
Chairman of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) Electoral Committee, Rev. Moses Iloh, whose body was set up to mediate the electoral crisis between Sports Minister, Sani Ndanusa and NOC President, Habu Gumel, has said that the report of the panel was binding on all members of the Olympic family.

The committee has slated March 31st for the election and is awaiting the arrival Gumel, who is in New Delhi to present the report before the latter now presents it to the member of the executive board, to pick a venue for the election and ratify other recommendations.

The executive board comprises all the President of the Olympic sports in the country.
Gume and Ndanusa are the top contenders for the Presidency post.

Speaking yesterday with Sports Vanguard, at the secretariat of the NOC in Lagos, the former boss of the Nigeria Cycling Federation, said that the panel comprising himself, Ibrahim Galadima and Abimbola Thomas, would make public the detail of their submissions when the President of the NOC, Habu Gumel is given the report, which he said is ready.

“All three of us have concluded our first job, vis-a-vis, the terms of reference that we were given, which primarily were to pick a date for the NOC elections, which we have proposed March 31st.  I must stress to you, that we did a thorough job, which by the mandate that was given at the botched Annual General Assembly in Dutse, Jigawa State, is binding on all members of the Nigeria Olympic movement.
