Imoke’s entourage in auto crash

The governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke’s entourage was involved in a minor accident at the weekend.

According to a statement released by Patrick Ugbe, the chief press secretary / S A media, the entourage was on its way to the Obudu Mountain Resort when the accident occurred about two kilometres from the resort.

The entourage was returning from a funeral wake keep of the late Chief Stephen Agba, a PDP stalwart in Obudu, and the late Madam Ayade, the mother of Prof Ben Ayade, another PDP stalwart in the state, when the incident occured.

No casualties were recorded.

The governor was also billed to attend the funeral of the pioneer PDP Chairman in Cross River State, Rev. Benedict Ikobi.
