GTBank introduces helpline for GTconnect centre

In  a renewed effort to continually reposition its services for enhanced and efficient customer service delivery, Guaranty Trust Bank has introduced a 24hours toll-free line for its GTConnect Contact Centre.
The bank  also said it is reinforcing its Card services unit to offer 24 hours service support to customers.

This development the bank said will further raise the standards of Contact Centre operations in the Nigeria financial Services sector, as customers can now have their card related enquiries, complaints and requests treated at any time of the day, everyday of the week by calling a dedicated number.

According to Femi Adeniran, a spokesperson for the Bank, explained that the move would further enhance the Bank’s capacity to respond efficiently and effectively to customers, whilst also offering improved card services support to customers.

GTConnect, the Guaranty Trust Bank contact centre, was set up in 2006 as the first fully interactive contact centre in Nigeria.

Through GTConnect’s robust platform, customers can  perform almost 90 percent of their banking transactions via telephone including Balance enquiries, own account and third party transfers, viewing transaction history, account statement and chequebook requests, confirmation and stopping of cheques, obtaining product information amongst others.

Incorporated in 1990, Guaranty Trust Bank has significant footprint in all Anglophone West African Countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia) and the United Kingdom. The Bank is soon set to expand its regional network into Francophone West Africa.
