Face of Black Opal Nigeria Set to debut

All hands are on deck, in preparations for the face of Black Opal Nigeria pageant, which is billed to hold before the end of 2010.

According to the Initiator of the beauty pageant, Meg Cornell-Anthony who is a sociology graduate from Ambrose Ali University, Edo state, the beauty pageant is meant basically to give young girls the opportunity to rise to the fore “ it is also aimed at promoting self esteem, and a sense of belonging among the girls.”

She noted that “the beauty pageant is a fantastic self confidence booster that helps contestants become go getters and achieve what they want in life”.

The competition which is open to all young girls between the ages of 18 and above; promises to be very rewarding. With the overall winner going home with a brand new car and one million naira, also the first runner up charts away one million naira, and other consolation prizes.

The face of Black Opal Nigeria pageant promises to be prestigious beauty pageants that will not only  give recognition and fame to participants, but will also be a stepping stone, for those who are savvy enough to play the game, to a rewarding career
