Communal clash imminent in Ogoni

A Non-governmental Organisation, Exodus 2000 Millennium Association, has raised an alarm over an imminent crisis between the families of the late Chief Abraham Kpanawa and Chief N. Ganwa, both of Eemuu compound in Ban-Ogoi community, Ogoni, in Rivers State.

The group alleged that youths of Eemuu compound, who settled in Ban-Ogoi community were disloyal to their landlord by locating a permanent project in the community without the consent of their landlord, the Wala.

A statement by the leader, Mr. Kingsley Nwiyorwa,  said that “the families of the late Chief Kpananwa and Chief Ganwa have always lived in peace with their  tenants of Eemuu.”
