Bauchi renovates college with N2bn

BAUCHI — AS part of efforts to improve the education standard in the state, the  Bauchi State government has spent over N2 billion to renovate AD Rufai College of Legal and Islamic Studies, Misau.

This was disclosed by Governor Isa Yuguda  while commissioning the college at Misau LGA yesterday after about two years of closure.

The students of the college have been directed to report back to school for immediate commencement of academic activities.

Speaking at the commissioning, Yuguda restated the commitment of his administration in revitalizing the education sector which, according to him, deserved all the attention that has been paid to it in the last three years since he came on board, pointing out that no price paid to education is too much.

The Governor who expressed delight over the standard of work in the college said it took this long to be completed because he was determined to ensure that quality work was done so that the college would look like a higher institution of learning that it was established to be.
